I am ready for my solo exhibition in Kyoto at beautiful gallery La Neige. Our efforts in setting up and organizing the space paid off remarkably. Although the opening day was quiet being a weekday, the second day thrived with activities. While many Japanese galleries enforce a “do not touch” policy, I took the opposite approach. We have encourage all visitors to freely try out anything that caught their interest. After placing the sign “Please touch and try” our visitors transformed gallery into a bustling fitting room. The result? By the end of the second day, most of my knits were sold out! Hooray for the success!
