Knitwear designer and fiber artist, Galina Carroll has a long and cozy relationship with textiles and fiber. For a number of years, she was working as a freelance and full-time sweater designer in New York City. She worked for fashion companies such as Donna Karan, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Anthropologie, Abercrombie & Fitch, Gap, Icelandic Design, Duckie Brown, and other. For the last 18 years, she has designed for knitting magazines and private clients. Her work is published in numerous magazines such as Vogue Knitting, Rowan, Creative Knitting, Knit 1, Noro, Knitters and other publications.

In 2009, she opened a new chapter of her knitting life and started her own studio: Galina Carroll Designs.

The studio offers unique sweaters, accessories, and fiber jewelry, using high quality yarn. This is the place for those who love simplicity, minimalistic shapes, and amusing details. All knitwear, accessories and fiber jewelry in our shop is made by hand or hand powered domestic machines using sustainable, eco-friendly materials.
