Fashion of 20th for textile collection

For last few month I have been working on sketches and illustration. This project “Illustrated Huntington” is a collaboration with the Huntington Historical Society. My illustrations depicting iconic buildings and stunning fashion garments generously donated by local residents from the 18th and 19th centuries will be printed on scarfs and other accessories. I am happy to announce that my final work will be showcased at upcoming events, including the Sheep and Shawl Festival on Sunday, May 5th, and the Garden Tour on Sunday, June 2nd. At the Sheep and Shawl Festival, I will be offering live demonstrations of handwoven tapestry for mini jewelry — an opportunity for attendees to witness the simple tapestry weaving technic. I extend a warm invitation to join me at these events, where we can celebrate art, history, and creativity together. The images below will be printed on textiles.

This project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Governor and the New York State Legislature, and administered by The Huntington Arts Council.
