I have been working on my project “Illustrated History of Huntington” for last few month. I transformed photos from the Huntington Historical Society archive and into sketches. This project is a collaboration with the Huntington Historical Society. I had an access to stunning vintage fashion garments provided by administration. The museum has textiles and accessories, donated by local residents, date back to the 18th century.

My sketches of 20th-century fashion and historic buildings will be printed on scarves and other accessories. I’m excited to announce that my final work will show Illustrated History of Huntington on textiles!

The Sheep and Shawl Festival and the Garden Tour will support local artists and showcase their work. At these events, I will offer live demonstrations of handwoven tapestry. Visitors will have the opportunity to see and learn a simple weaving technique. We warmly invite everyone to join us and celebrate art and history.
