I would like to share how to create necklace inspired by seashells. You will find more jewelry pieces in my store with nature inspired shapes. I love walking on the beach, where I always discover beautiful treasures like shells, seaweed, and smooth stones. Recently, one particular seashell caught my attention and now I’ve started a small collection of these unique shapes. Inspired by the shell’s unusual form, I decided to create a cashmere necklace that mirrors its beauty.

While browsing through my swatch box, I found thick felted cashmere in warm orange and grey tones. I didn’t have a tool to create perfect 2.5 mm diameter circles, so I got creative. I used a quarter to trace the circles and scissors to carefully cut them out. While this method is not be the most efficient, it worked perfectly for me!

Next, I arranged the felted circles into a 19″ long, snake-like design. To add a touch of elegance, I spaced small gold beads between each circle. A gold-colored clasp finished the necklace, giving it a polished look.

And just like that—voilà ! A warm, soft and cozy cashmere necklace was born. It’s the perfect accessory to add a beach-inspired touch to any outfit.
